This is as good as it gets from me. This drawing is a self portrait. It is filled with things I like and things I think about. The title came from a song by the Pixies that was heard at the end of the great movie Fight Club. I felt this was the best title for this drawing and the way I think, especially at that time in my life. There are hidden faces, friends names and movie references throughout the drawing. This was done with a sharpened mechanical pencil F lead, on 18" x 24" canson sketch paper. It is the smoothest pencil work you will ever see and I don't feel cocky saying that. I sharpened the mechanical lead by wearing it down on scrap paper until there was a fine point. I filled in the pores of the paper that the lead did not reach the first time over and you see very few sketch marks except maybe in the darkest areas. This picture took me about a year to do. I was working full time at the shit factory at the time. Maybe that's what inspired me to do this. Maybe if I wasn't so miserable I wouldn't have done it. I will probably never do another picture like this because I can't afford the time and I haven't figured out how to get paid to sit down for a year and do this. Money sure rules the world. That and lawyers. This is a photo I had taken of the drawing. It looks a little grey because the paper is a little off white. I signed it with my blood print again because I don't have a distinct signature. Doing this I feel it makes me part of the picture. Then I ripped the corner off and ate it so the picture becomes part of me. If you’re interested it purchasing this print visit PENCILPRISON.COM click the link on my front page or what ever you call that.
Wow... Dude I eat drawings too... And sign them in blood... But I actually use a toothpick and dip it into a puddle usually gathered in cups from a random cut here and there.... Cept I write my initials with it... Oh well, anyway.. This is amazing. I love the cocky behavior in the description... Also a characteristic we share. This is an exceptional peice of art and it's definitely worth a and if dA gets some sense, perhaps a Daily Deviation is not far in your future.

Thanks man. About the Daily DV, I already put all these up before then I took them down. So I don't know if they give repeats a Daily DV and I don't need it anyway. I don't think they should single out anyones art on this site. Thanks for the fav.
Mmnn, Pixies.

This is easily one of the best compositions I've ever seen. The pencil is so smooth that it looks like it was done on a computer.
Your figure work is just superb. I can even see all the muscles in the little men's backs as they float into the tunnel of love...
I love how you incorporated so many different things! I could look at this many times and find something new every time.
So far, I've found that I really like the moon eating the cow and the little man saluting the swastika on the television.
Everything's so 3d, I feel like I could reach into the image and touch different things. The radio in the upper left corner, or the burning crossbones on Death.
+fav. This is just incredible, and I could only hope to be 1/5 this good someday. Your hard work is really evident here, and I congratulate you on such a superb composition.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
