Remember those Star Wars cards you collected when you were younger? Well I decided to draw some. Here is the first one I duplicated. It’s the main man Luke Skywalker.
This drawing highly detailed, reasonably accurate hand drawn reproduction in mechanical pencil of this one card from the blue set of Star Wars cards. It took me about a week to draw this. Not only did I draw the front of the card with the posing Mark Hamill, I also drew the back of the card with the piece of the puzzle. You see when you buy the real cards and collect enough you can put the backs together and they make a puzzle. The part of the puzzle on this one is a painting of the movie poster or a production painting they used for the movie poster. It’s more like a copied painting of the production painting. I’ve seen it painted better then the puzzle picture anyways. My drawn card is the same size as the real card. It’s a standard 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". The only difference is I put my initials in the bottom right corner on the front of mine. The real drawing looks better, sharper or clearer then it does here. The scan doesn't really capture it.
